# One workbench for every profession in the firm

Every professional in the firm works from one workbench built around review. Households, people, touchpoints and tasks live in a shared CRM. The calls, messages and meetings around them are captured into one compliance archive.

## A shared CRM for the whole firm
Households, people, touchpoints and tasks sit in one CRM that every profession uses. An advisor, a tax preparer, an insurance agent and an attorney see the same household. They see the same history too. Each one works within their own permissions. Today shows what needs attention. Clients, Work, Communications and Workspace keep the rest close at hand. Tasks send email and text reminders. New staff get a welcome email with their sign-in. Each specialty opens its own workspace from that record: [Wealth](/advisors), [Tax](/tax), [Life & Annuities](/life-annuities), [Commercial Insurance](/commercial-insurance) and [Legal](/legal). Read more about [the shared CRM](/crm).

## Every conversation captured
It all flows into one place. That means Microsoft 365 mail and calendar, Teams calls and chats, and Zoom scheduling and recordings. It also means RingCentral calls, texts, voicemail and fax, and Twilio messaging. Staff send mail as themselves, check free and busy time and book meetings right in the workbench. Recorded calls play back securely, and live calls can show a running transcript. Opt-outs are honored on every text channel. Nobody logs a call by hand, because the archive writes the activity record. See [communications](/communications).

## A compliance archive that is the system of record
Email, texts, call recordings and signed documents are stored encrypted in one archive. So are faxes and website snapshots. Staff and reviewers search across every channel at once. The archive is the only source of the CRM activity record. So what the firm reviews and what the CRM shows always match. Supervisors review work where it happens. Each approval is kept with the item it approves. See [the compliance archive](/archive) and [Security & Control](/trust) for how access and retention work.

## Signatures, time and billing
Agreements and authorizations sign through BoldSign or the firm's own DocuSign account. The signed copy lands in the archive. Staff track time with timers, submit it for approval and see how their hours are used. Fee schedules drive fee runs and invoices with the right disclosures. Reminders follow unpaid bills. Custodian fee files are ready for advisory billing. Stripe handles card and bank collection. Insurance agencies keep a full accounting ledger. It holds trust money and commissions and has general ledger export. See [time and billing](/billing) and [identity and e-signature](/identity-and-signatures).

## Workflows that wait for approval
Rule-based workflows run sequences, campaigns and escalations. One person prepares and a second person approves. Then sensitive work can leave the firm. Segments target the right households, and escalations raise work that is running late. AI agents use the same tools as staff, and those tools wait for approval too. Each step lands in a tamper-evident log, a record that shows any change. Nothing an agent prepares reaches a client until a person says yes. Learn more about [workflows and approvals](/workflows) and [how AI is used](/ai).

## Marketing that respects consent
Firms publish websites and blogs and post to social channels. They run Google, Meta and LinkedIn ads. Newsletters, printed letters and handwritten cards go out from the same workbench. Each item publishes only after approval. Marketing mail goes only to people who have given consent. A social post can be pulled back after it goes live. Each piece is captured in the archive with its approval. So the record shows who said yes and when. See [marketing with consent](/marketing).

## Getting started and staying supported
Firms start with a guided onboarding that confirms billing first and then opens a trial. Email sending is set up for the firm's own name. When the firm asks for help, support staff can join a read-only session. They see the issue without changing anything. Each month brings a metered statement that shows what was used. Staff sign in once, without a password, across every tool. See [pricing](/pricing) or [talk with us](/contact).

## Connect what the firm already uses
A public API organized by service line connects the firm's business software. Access can be limited to approved network addresses. AI assistants connect through a governed, audited connection. It stays inside the firm's own data. Each call is checked against the firm's permissions and recorded. Other systems can be told when something changes, so the firm's tools stay in step. Read the [developer guides](/developers) or [try the platform](/try).
